Why doesn’t DirecTV have every premium channel?

I get every Starz channel except for Starz Cinema, and I don't get HBO Zone, Cinemax Action. Now all HBO and Cinemax comes in HD. I get like 4 of them in HD. And 2 out 4 are West.

I have the full package deal. So what's going on here?

Not every provider will have every channel. A lot has to deal with the amount of demand there is among the customer base for a specific channel. There are also other factors that can include the amount of money it costs to carry the channel may be more than Directv or any other provider for that matter is willing to fork out. It usually means more channels the higher the cost is for the customers whichisn’tt always the best buisness practice. Also there may be other providers that have purchased exclusive rights to the channel which can make it so a provider like Directv cant even negotiate a contract until the contract with the exclusive provider expires. If there is a certain channel that you want the best way to get it is to call Directv and have them put in a request
